On October 4th 2022, two week after announced FREE AND NOT GUILTY by the Court of Ranong District, the Kingdom of Thailand, Capt Sugeng Wahyono is finally home. His returning home to Indonesia have been highly anticipated by all including family and colleagues in BLT Group.
Arrival in Soekarno Hatta Airport and landed at 11.30 am, Capt Sugeng Wahyono was greeted by the representatives of the Company and was brought to the Head Office to have small celebration on his returning home.
The event was attended by the Board of Directors and BLT Group’s Employees. In this occasion, Ms. Siana Surya as the President Director of PT Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk, expressed her happiness of the Court’s decision, thanked all parties for their hard work and assistance, also thanked Capt Sugeng and his family for their patience and trust given to the Company. In the same instance, Ms. Siana hope that this case must be a lesson learnt so that nothing the same happens in the future.
Capt Sugeng in his address express his gratitude to the Company who has been supporting him and has never stop in providing legal assistance to defend the case that has cost his life of 3 years and 8 months.
The Company provides chance to Capt Sugeng to spend time with his family first and would welcome Capt Sugeng when he is ready to sail on board again.
