The vessel has a cargo tank capacity of 3,500 CBM and is designed to transport a range of pressurized gas cargoes, including Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) as well as petrochemical gases such as propylene, crude butane, butadiene, and raffinate. Following the acquisition, the vessel has been renamed Gas Indonesia.
Gas Indonesia is the fourth gas carrier of its type within BLT’s fleet, further enhancing the Company’s operational capabilities in the gas transportation sector. The vessel is expected to support customers’ cargo transportation requirements, particularly in serving smaller ports across Indonesia where flexible and reliable shipping solutions are essential.
The vessel will be managed by Gold Bridge Shipping Limited and classed by China Classification Society, ensuring compliance with applicable international safety, technical, and operational standards.
The addition of Gas Indonesia reinforces BLT’s strategy of expanding its specialized fleet portfolio and strengthening its position as a provider of reliable maritime transportation services for Indonesia’s energy.
